Cycling in Hawke’s Bay
The beaches, the vineyards, the hills….
The best way to see the sites around Hawke’s Bay is to get outside on an e-bike and enjoy the views. There’s 200 kilometres of safe bike trails to explore.
One of our recommended landscape/winery rides is relatively flat trails from Te Awanga to Black Barn Vineyards & Bistro or Craggy Range, have brunch/lunch, and then cycle back. The electric boost on the e-bikes puts the fun into any long distance trip.
If you’re wanting a more water view ride then head from Te Awanga over Black Bridge around the East Clive Wetlands then head further north depending on how much time you have and visit Hohepa for some quality local cheese, then onto the Waitangi Regional Park/Star Compass, and follow the cycle track along Marine Parade to the Aquarium or even into Napier and have lunch at the famous Mister D’s.
Free printed maps are available upon bike pick up however if you want to look at them before hand please click here
Plus, if you forget your sunblock and bottled water, don’t worry we have these available too.
